RCN series 2xxx, 5xxx, and 8xxx models offer fault exclusion to promote machine user safety by ensuring encoder will not break loose during proper use. When used within proper speed parameters, temperatures, and angular accelerations as well as with addition of catch ring or spring pins, encoders achieve positive mechanical connection that helps eliminate possibility of loosening and subsequent production of false data. Absolute encoders are available standard and Functionally-Safe Certified.
