There's relief available for users who applied a recent Java update that stopped some Web applications from being able to launch. Oracle has issued Java 7 Update 67 which contains a fix for the problem that cropped up in Java 7 Update 65, according to an official blog post.

When it comes to speeding up Web traffic over the Internet, sometimes too much of a good thing may not be such a good thing at all. The Internet Engineering Task Force is putting the final touches on HTTP/2, the second version of the Hypertext Transport Protocol (HTTP). The working group has issued a last call draft, urging interested parties to voice concerns before it becomes a full Internet specification.
