Leveraging thermal adsorption technology for separation of solid and fluid, modularized and skid-mounted Integrated Oily Waste Solution can achieve treatment performance with TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon) rate of no more than 0.022%. After treatment, waste can be reused for cement or other construction material production, and 90%–95% of base oil can be recycled directly as drilling fluid. KPN confirms 'multiple parties' interested in Base
2015-04-06 09:35:00| Telecompaper Headlines
(Telecompaper) KPN confirmed that "multiple parties" have expressed interest in acquiring its Belgian mobile operator Base. The statement from the Dutch operator follows a report in the Belgian press that cable operators Telenet and Voo were already in advanced negotiations for a joint bid for Base. KPN did not name the potential bidders but said it was considering all options for Base. KPN tried to sell Base earlier in 2012 but was reportedly unable to acquire the desired price. The latest reports put Base's value at around EUR 1 billion. Other potential bidders are thought to include the French operators Altice and Iliad.

Telenet, Voo prepare joint bid for Base - report
2015-04-02 09:36:00| Telecompaper Headlines
(Telecompaper) Belgian cable operators Telenet and Voo are considering a joint bid for mobile operator Base, L'Echo reports. The negotiations on the takeover are thought to be well advanced, with the bidders already gaining access to the Base data room, a source close to the deal told the paper. Danny Weekers, strategy director at Nethys, the parent company of Voo, said it was "no secret" that the company was interested in Base, "everyone is", he said, while adding that he did not think access to the data room was yet possible. Base's parent company KPN reportedly kept the Belgian management of the company outside the sales process until mid-March, the paper said. Weekers said an alliance with Telenet "would make sense" but the two had no formal agreement nor plans to arrange a joint bid. Telenet declined to comment on the report.
