St. Louis stocks tumble on market's China fears

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down nearly 3 percent, to 16,058, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.9 percent, to 4,636. In energy, Arch Coal Inc. was down more than 31 percent, to $6.41 a share, and Peabody Energy was down more than 18 percent, to $2.21 a share.
