Excellent Resources to Answer Common Questions on Green Vehicles
2013-04-30 02:47:17| AutomotiveDigest.com - Automotive Industry News
Dealers that are selling alternative fuel vehicles pure electric, plug in hybrid, hybrid, natural gas vehicle, flex fuel, and other variations know very well that education is a must for staff to deliver to car shoppers and owners. There are always questions that come up about incentives, charging and fueling stations, lifecycle ownership costs, and other green benefits of ownership. Two experts gave presentations on these issues last week at the NAFA conference in Atlantic City, NJ, that are excellent for dealer management to know about. Mark Smith of US Dept. of Energys Clean Cities, and by Terry Levinson of Energetics Inc., offered resources on issues and questions that come up all the time. They covered laws and incentives on these vehicles, charging and fueling station locations, ways to reduce petroleum consumption, and how to reduce fuel guzzling idle time. Check out highlights from these presentations, with links to Dept. of Energy resource pages that are well known for their resources. The Article Excellent Resources to Answer Common Questions on Green Vehicles appeared first on Automotive Digest.

SAE International just issued a certification credential with Automotive Research and Design for professionals handling these green vehicles. SAE International Advanced HEV Diagnostics Certificate of Competency provides the training in support of this certificate. Its there for service technicians, engineers, shop owners, instructors, and other automotive professional sectors.
