The Netrunner Rolling 2015.11 version is a disappointing release. It seems sluggish and unimpressive right from the start. Linux Picks and Pans last reviewed Netrunner in 2013 and gave it five stars. This was the standard Netrunner edition built upon Kubuntu, Ubuntu's KDE desktop version. The Netrunner Rolling edition, released in 2014, is based on packages from the Manjaro distribution.

Just because oilsands giant Suncor Energy is aiming to gobble up one of its smaller peers doesn't mean others in the oilpatch are eager to do the same just yet, industry players told an energy conference Wednesday. The pace of mergers and acquisitions in the industry is expected to be relatively limited for the time being, said Drew Ross, managing director of Scotia Waterous, the arm of Scotiabank that focuses on oil and gas deals.

Mideast Stocks-Petrochemicals boost Saudi; other markets sluggish

Brent oil's strong recovery above $50 a barrel last week made investors more comfortable with petrochemical stocks. Sector leader Saudi Basic Industries climbed 3.2 percent to 89.25 riyals on Sunday, while four other stocks in sector were also among the 10 most-traded stocks and saw their prices surge.

A sluggish start for US stocks following a rough quarter

U.S. stocks started a new month lower a day after the market wrapped up its worst quarter in four years. Exxon Mobil, Chevron and other oil producers bucked the trend early Thursday, following crude oil higher.
