As control unit for use in remote logic control and monitoring in industrial applications, WISE-5231 (Web Inside, Smart Engine) offers usability-optimized Web interface that lets users implement IF-THEN-ELSE control logic on controllers without requiring any programming. I/O allows concurrent connection to XV-board, remote I/O modules, and Modbus TCP/RTU Slave modules. Other features include datalogger function, FTP capability, and support for CGI command sending/receiving function.

Verizon to open ThingSpace IoT platfrom to third parties

(Telecompaper) Verizon has outlined the gains made by its ThingSpace platform since launch in October 2015. ThingSpace is a platform allowing businesses of all sizes to build consumer applications enabled by the IoT. The company said at Mobile World Congress that over 4,000 developers are now using ThingSpace. It announced plans to open up the platform to third-party network and technology service providers. Verizon will also introduce a new set of tools addressing security concerns.
