According to a new research report from the analyst firm Berg Insight, the installed base of wireless IoT devices in industrial automation reached 10.3 million in 2014. The number of wireless IoT devices in automation networks will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.2 percent to reach 43.5 million by 2020.

Mediacom adds Netflix and Hulu streaming services through set-top devices

Mediacom Communications announced an agreement with Netflix Inc. to make the streaming-video service available as an app on its customers' TiVo set-top boxes. Mediacom Communications and Hulu announced that the companies have reached an agreement that will allow Mediacom to offer Hulu's subscription streaming service its customers.
