International Paper sues Isle of Wight, saying it overpaid on taxes

The former top taxpayer in the county is now suing to reclaim some money after it says it was overtaxed. Once Isle of Wight County's largest taxpayer, International Paper filed a lawsuit against the county earlier this week claiming that the company had overpaid on local machinery and tools taxes and requesting a $2.7 million refund.
