Senate passes Keystone XL Pipeline legislation.
2015-02-04 14:32:09| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
U.S. Senate passed Keystone XL Pipeline bill following 3 weeks of debate where more than 40 amendments were considered. Senators Portman (R-OH) and Shaheen (D-NH) offered amendment that would establish "Tenant Star," a voluntary, market-driven approach to aligning interests of commercial building owners and their tenants to reduce energy consumption. Amendment would also require that federally leased buildings without Energy Star labels benchmark and disclose energy usage data.
