ISTO Technologies wins $1.2 million grant

ISTO Technologies, a privately-held orthobiologics company working to develop ways to repair and regenerate damaged or injured cartilage and bone, has won a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Institutes of Health that is worth up to $1.2 million. The money will be used to help fund pre-clinical research for the application of their biosynthetic scaffold, called InQu, which repairs chondral defects.
