TDC buys Modern Times Group Nordics to form converged business under new name

(Telecompaper) Modern Times Group (MTG) said it has agreed to combine its Nordic Entertainment and MTG Studios businesses with TDC Group to create a fully convergent media and communications provider, under a new brand. The new entity will reach all 10 million households in the Nordic region and will serve 2.8 million TV subscribers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, through brands such as Viasat, Viaplay, Viafree, YouSee TV & Film, Blockbuster and Get Play. It will also provide fixed line and mobile telephony as well as broadband.

Eniig opens up network to YouSee, TDC Business services from 2018

(Telecompaper) Regional utility and broadband supplier Eniig said it has signed an agreement enabling TDC Group to offer YouSee and TDC Business products through the Eniig fibre network from 2018. Eniig said this is the first such access deal in Denmark, after it announced in summer that it planned to open up its grid to external service providers. So far, Eniig has only provided services from Waoo, the fibre association of which Eniig is a member.

TDC buys MVNO Plenti with 90,000 users on 3 Denmark network

(Telecompaper) Danish operator TDC said it has acquired Danish MVNO Plenti for DKK 74 million. Plenti currently runs on rival 3 Denmark's network, and TDC will negotiate the transfer of Plenti's 90,000 or so customers to TDC's own mobile grid.
