Altice Europe Q2 revenues fall 5%, EBITDA down 10%

(Telecompaper) Altice Europe said it's making progress on its turnaround plans, but reported a further fall in results for the second quarter. Revenues dropped 4.8 percent to EUR 3.48 billion, and adjusted EBITDA was down 10.3 percent to EUR 1.32 billion. The margin fell to 37.8 percent from 40.1 percent a year ago.

Tele2 upgrades FY EBITDA growth outlook after strong Q2

(Telecompaper) Tele2 has upgraded its outlook for EBITDA growth this year after reporting a strong set of second-quarter results. The growth in Q2 was again led by its activities in the Baltics and Kazakhstan as well as a solid performance in its home market Sweden.

Vodafone meets FY outlook, sees EBITDA growth slowing in new year

(Telecompaper) Vodafone said it expects a slowdown in underlying profit growth this year, after meeting its outlook for the fiscal year to March 2018. Last year, organic adjusted EBITDA grew 11.8 percent to EUR 14.74 billion, ahead of its outlook for around 10 percent growth, while this year growth will slow to 1-5 percent, as the company faces growing competition in key markets such as Spain and Italy.

Telstra warns for 'challenging' times ahead, FY EBITDA at low end of guidance

(Telecompaper) Australian operator Telstra has provided an update on trading for its fiscal year to June based on its results in the period to April. The operator re-affirmed its guidance, but said EBITDA is expected to be at the bottom end of the range and free cash flow is expected to be at the top end to moderately above.

Deutsche Telekom ups FY EBITDA outlook after underlying growth in Q1

(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom reported revenues down 3.9 percent year-on-year to EUR 17.92 billion, and adjusted EBITDA was flat at EUR 5.55 billion. Growth was held back by the stronger euro versus the dollar, while on an organic basis, revenues rose 3.1 percent, the company said. Deutsche Telekom also raised its guidance for adjusted EBITDA in the full-year 2018, by EUR 100 million to around EUR 23.3 billion, saying this was due to its "unique growth profile" with operations on both sides of the Atlantic.
