Program can determine best orientation of geometry for printing, cycle through holes in mesh and manually fix them, intersect and split 2 sets of meshes, and select and manipulate selected portions of mesh using graphical manipulator. Version 2016 can also generate nozzle deposition patterns and associated G-code to drive FDM printers.

Shaw sells Shaw Media to Corus for CAD 2.65 bln

(Telecompaper) Shaw Communications has agreed to sell its Shaw Media operations to Corus Entertainment for CAD 2.65 billion in cash and shares. At completion, Shaw will own 39 percent of Corus. The deal will bring Shaw net proceeds of around CAD 1.8 billion, money which will be used to fund the previously announced acquisition of Wind Mobile for CAD 1.6 billion. This transaction is expected to close in the third quarter.

(Telecompaper) Shaw Communications has agreed to acquire Mid-Bowline Group and its unit Wind Mobile for a total of CAD 1.6 billion. CEO Brad Shaw said the deal will boost Shaw's offering by bringing in Wind's 5 MHZ spectrum in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, as well and its mobile network. The CEO added that the next step will be to develop a converged wireline and wireless network.
