Description of the job A position of CAD Integration Engineer has just opened within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. You will join Plan Build for Physical Design Department within IM. Information Management IM delivers the expertise, technology and equipment for Airbus Space and Aerospace products We make it fly! Tasks accountabilities You will be in charge of the following main activities Ensures the functional and technical integration of the 3D Experience product Drives the technical tests strategy, tests scripts and scenarii Runs the integration tests Defines the root cause of issues perform a technical analysis Automatizes deployments Actively and efficiently collaborates with architecture, security, infrastructure, technology experts teams and business departments Is a level 2 support for the issues encountered in Production Drives subcontractors team. Travels can occur to other Airbus Defence Sites estimated to twice a year and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills You have the experience and the following skills Engineering degree Basic knowledge of the engineering processes Basic knowledge in 3D Experience platform architecture and operation Basic on Cloud technology Basic knowledge on DevOps toolset Basic knowledge in database architecture and operation mainly MSSQL First experience in project managementcoordination would be appreciated Ability to abstract problems and issues in analytical way, to propose solutions Understanding of IT infrastructure and good adaptation on new technologies or software solutions evaluation, pilot projects Good communication and coordination skills and ability to work within a multifunctional and multicultural team Advanced level of English. Description of the job A vacancy for a CAD Process, Methods and Tools Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Stevenage. This will suit a CAD Engineer who is looking to move a slightly different direction from handson designing and into CAD Process, Methods and Tools. The CAD Process, Methods and Tools Engineer contributes to the development and maintenance of CAD process to ensure the mechanical design is of a high quality, is efficiently created, updated and is consistent across the group. The CAD Process, Methods and Tools engineer is to become the Stevenage CAD focal point under the direction of the CAD process team leader. Tasks accountabilities To give guidance and user support to the Stevenage CAD community to improve the quality and consistency of data, efficiency of the CAD processes. Identification of training needs and development of training aids, tools and documentation. Clear and interactive communication with the CAD users on these topics. Definition of CAD Process in support of all Stevenage Mechanical Design Office, 3D design and drawing office activities, principally using CATIA V5 and V6 3Dexperience, in conjunction with related PDM and ERP software and systems 3DCom, Engineering Central, SPRINT, Windchill etc. Identification of CAD softwarehardware problems and resolution from local to transnational level. Contributes to maintaining records of user requests, identification and tracking of problems and difficulties. Mechanical Design office interface with other CAD Process teams across other Airbus sites. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills Experience Proven experience in mechanical design activities using Catia V5 or V6 3Dexperience. Delivering CAD user support is desirable but not necessary. General drawing and design office practice including configuration control and document management. Aerospace or space industry background is desirable. Technical skills Extensive Catia V5 or V6 3Dexperience knowledge including o General workbenches including part design, product design and surface. o FTA and 3D as master principles. o Powercopies and knowledgeware. Solid understanding of 3D as master principles. Experience of other 3D applications and technologies VR, Delmia, ALM etc would be an advantage. Good vision of mechanical design office manufacturing activities, Able to make decisions and be proactive on improvements. Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including parttime. Huawei CFO released on CAD 10 million bail

(Telecompaper) Huawei's CFO Meng Wanzhou has been released from arrest in Canada after agreeing to post CAD 10 million bail after three days of hearings, the CBC reports. She must remain at a home owned by her husband in Vancouver and in the province of British Colombia while the court decides on a US extradition request for Meng to face fraud charges.
