Rail shipments of crude oil to the Irving Oil refinery in Saint John through Maine have dropped significantly this year, according to data released by the State of Maine. About 15,000 barrels from Albany, New York, have been shipped on a handful of Maine Central Railroad cars, as of the end of July.
