NBN rolls out trial service to 3000 homes in NSW, Queensland

NBN Co will connect around 3000 homes in four suburbs to Telstra and Singtel-Optus's cable TV and broadband networks as part of a construction trial to see if a wider rollout of the technology is viable. NBN Co has bought and is set to upgrade the hybrid fibre coaxial networks currently used by Telstra and Singtel-Optus to deliver Foxtel and cable broadband services.
