Exhibiting higher flow than comparable TPVs, Sarlink® ME-2200 Series enables molders of exterior components such as gaskets, seals, and trim to process complex, intricate designs while shortening cycles. Products are available in hardnesses from 65 Shore A to 40 Shore D. Offering UV stability, good flexibility over wide temperature range, and Class A surface appearance, compounds are readily colored and do not require pre-drying prior to molding.

Unlike TPVs used for weatherproof seals in window frames, Monprene® IN-23000 Series styrenic block copolymer compounds are available in small lots and pre-colored grades. Some grades can be processed with same tooling used for PVC profiles at similar throughput rates and die pressures. TPEs resist staining from paints and exhibit end-use properties essential for air- and moisture-proof window gaskets, including rubberlike seal recovery, low-temperature toughness, and UV resistance.
