Overview Under this work package the contractor shall support the EarthObservation Directorate, assigned to the Copernicus Space Segmentprojects. Heshe will be delegated to work on specific Projects, and assuch heshe will liaise on a daily basis with the various members ofhisher Project and work with the Product Assurance Manager andProject Manager, including the following tasks Data collection, extraction from different Corporate applications e.g. PRISMA and from various internal sources and data consistency checkingand coherence analysis. Assist in the preparation of project auditsif and when required. Supporting users for retrieving documents from local DMS, DMSs from external partners andor industry, out of paper archives, other sourceslike ESTEC library, scanned documents on CDROM or via Internet, etc, Related support to project reviews. Provision of paper copies of electronic documents on request, creation of electronic versions of documents, in addition to management of original files. Tasks related to documentation management, distributionregistration of project documentation. Supporting the implementation and maintenance of adequate configuration control methods and procedures, consistent with applicablestandardsrequirements. Providing status data and maintaining a wellstructured configuration record system supporting Configuration Control Boards established forthe processing of changes and waiversdeviations. The contractor is expected to be or become familiar with theAgencys internal IT tools needed for the conduct of hisher tasks. Specific qualification requirements Proficient in MS Office packages with experience of high level Project Administration. Knowledge of ESA administrative and documentation managementprocessestools is an advantage. Experience with ESA and Earth Observation projects is an advantage. Excellent planning and organisation skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule. Initiative and motivation to perform to high standards in a demanding environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the outside world e.g. Industry. Fluent in the English language spoken and written. Knowledge of other European languages is an asset. Support Configuration Management Service

BepiColombo is a joint ESAJAXA mission to Mercury. The mission comprises two spacecraft, ESAs Mercury Planetary Orbiter MPO and JAXAs Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter MMO. The two spacecraft will be launched in October of 2018 with arrival at Mercury in December 2025. The activities of the MPO Science Ground Segment SGS include Science Operations Planning of the MPO payload, science data processing and data distribution to the instrument teams, quick look data analysis of science data and archiving of data in the BepiColombo science archive. The MPO SGS has interfaces with the Operational Ground Segment OGS at ESOC, the MMO JAXA Sagamihara Space Operations Centre SSOC, the MPO Instrument Teams and the Scientific Community. The SGS is based at the European Space Astronomy Centre ESAC in Villanueva de la Caada, Madrid, Spain
