(Telecompaper) Telia Company has announced that it is licensing out its standalone OTT rights for Sweden and Finland to Discovery Networks. Telia had offered a commitment to license out those rights to one other market player in the two countries last November, in order to secure the commission's approval for Telia's acquisition of the Bonnier Broadcasting companies TV4, C More and MTV.

It combines fifteen linear channels with streaming, and output includes films and serials from Discovery, HBO Nordic and C More for SEK 199 per month. The operator is offering a promotional free month's trial and one free film rental.
