A GROUP of tough Harley Davidson riders showed their soft side by pushing a bed around a Chelmsford square to raise money for charity. The Lakeside Chapter of the Harley Owners' Group pushed a full size bed, donated by IKEA, around Market Square to raise money for the J's Hospice, which is based in the town and offers support and care for young people with life limiting conditions and their families.

Subaru raising 'brand value' to offset costs

Subaru is on a red-hot sales tear in the U.S. Now it's time to leverage that popularity to offset the mounting costs of making cleaner cars, the brand's global boss says. In an interview with Japan's Nihon Keizai business newspaper, the head of Subaru maker Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. didn't call outright for higher sticker prices.
