EPSSG Ops Prep System Coordination 1413064 Job Description The activities for this consultancy will cover Operation Preparation definition and coordination tasks focusing System Operation aspects. The activity requires one key person for the duration of the consultancy contract. The tasks and responsibilities of the key person will typically include the following Lead end to end Operation Preparation activities when external entities and partners are involved, in coordination with relevant existing operational interfaces managed in OPS. Good system knowledge of the main functional elements of a ground system which are used for the monitoring and control of a satellite. Spacecraft monitor and control operations on SCOS based system. Experience in the operation or development of satellite ground segment facilities, in particular procedure development, monitor and control, mission planning, onboard software management, performance analysis, configuration management and simulator facilities. As already experienced key role in the definition and the validation of specific operation preparation phases such as SSVT, validation campaigns or rehearsals. Operation development life cycle and Operation Preparation environment such as procedure editor and databases management tools. Soft skills Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and be confident to deal with a wide variety of people.
