AASHTO Report examines ways state DOTs are using drones.

According to AASHTO's March 2016 survey, 33 state departments of transportation (DOTs) either have or are exploring, researching, testing, or using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – also known as drones – in various applications. Special report by AASHTO's Transportation TV explores ways in which state DOTs are using drones, and online fact sheet highlights benefits of UAV use. AASHTO is also planning webinars on UAS technology and will hold peer exchange during upcoming AASHTO Spring Meeting.

"Cloud Computing and Accessibility Considerations" explores difficulties employees with disabilities may encounter as organizations migrate to the cloud. In addition to providing 8 known challenges with new IT technology, draft publication from NIST Cloud Accessibility Public Working Group lists barriers specific to cloud-computing environments. Working identified potential accessibility barriers and how to prevent them and also developed cloud computing accessibility taxonomy/vocabulary.
