Rail hopper cars arrive at Northgate

The Ceres Global Ag Corp. has announced that 63 rail hopper cars from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway have arrived at Ceres' commodity logistics hub in Northgate - the first rail cars at the site. With the completion of the temporary grain transloading facility in October of last year, and the installation of the U.S. Customs trailer in late December, the arrival of the hopper cars in mid-January signals the commencement of loading and shipping operations for wheat and other agricultural commodities at Northgate.
Alstom to deliver signalling and electrification solutions for India's Kochi Metro Rail

Willits resident Marcia Rautenstrauch was curious and a little confused last week, when a representative from CH2M HILL, the engineering company performing environmental sampling at the former Willits Rail Yard, asked whether she had wells on her East Mendocino Avenue property. Dave Hodson, who is managing the project at CH2M HILL, confirmed there was nothing mysterious and his firm was conducting a site review of the area.
