Southwest Ventilation Project Update: February 27, 2015

Construction is underway on a project to reduce sewer odors and increase the capacity of the Southwest Parallel Interceptor sewer system to accommodate future growth. The contractor will install about 1,000 feet of 24-inch concrete pipe along SW Taylors Ferry Road and 800 feet of 48-inch concrete pipe along SW Virginia Avenue, and will construct an odor control facility in the neighborhood.
