For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for a Laboratory Engineer. Tasks and Responsibilities The Position is laboratory based, covering four laboratories The Energy Storage Laboratory The Solar Generator Laboratory The Electrical Power Laboratory The High Voltage Laboratory. The successful applicant will be one of a team of four contractors working alongside a team of scientific staff performing investigations and experiments. Responsibilities include Setting up and undertaking controlled experiments Recording and presenting data for analysis Preparation and instrumentation of test samples Maintaining equipment Writing reports and summaries Following and ensuring strict safety procedures. Requirements Qualifications experience Degree level education in a scientific discipline, Software engineering skills, LabView, C Broad and in depth experience and knowledge of laboratory testing environments.
