Royce Low-Priced Stock Fund gained 2.6% for the year-to-date period ended June 30, trailing its small-cap benchmark, the Russell 2000 Index, which was up 4.8% for the same period. While the Fund's relative results for the first half left something to be desired, we were pleased with the portfolio's absolute return, particularly in a market that continued to present challenges for active, risk-conscious approaches.

Jimmy Choo first-half underlying sales rise 3.3 percent

Jimmy Choo said on Friday that sales benefited from its growing exposure to Asia and it expected to start seeing the impact of a shop renovation and new store opening plan come through in the second half of the year. Over the first six months of the year, the company's adjusted core earnings grew 0.5 percent to 27.7 million pounds on total revenue which was 6.5 percent higher at 158.5 million pounds.

Source: U.S. Meat Export Federation June export data, released by USDA and compiled by the U.S. Meat Export Federation, reflected a challenging first half of 2015 for U.S. pork, beef and lamb exports. June pork exports totaled 174,554 metric tons, down 4% from a year ago. With pork prices down significantly from last year’s high levels, June export value fell 22% year-over-year to $454 million. For the first half of 2015, pork exports were down 5% in volume (1.09 million mt) and 16% in value ($2.88 billion). read more
