Car and truck sales got off to a solid start in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in January, with dealerships reporting a 6.6 percent increase in business. All four counties in the area had increases, though sales in Denton and Tarrant counties far outpaced the others with 10 percent increases, according to The Freeman Metroplex Recap of new-vehicle sales.
