Sony on Wednesday officially unveiled the powered-up PlayStation 4 Pro, which features smoother graphics, thanks to higher frame rates. This new version of Sony's bestselling video game console includes support for 4K resolution and high dynamic range, making it fully compatible with 4K/UHD displays. Some developers will add PS4 Pro support to existing games, as well as upcoming releases.

(Telecompaper) Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced a major revamp of its product and service portfolio via exclusive partnerships, new content and offers targeted at boosting take-up of convergent packages and harnessing a fibre-optic network extending to 84 percent of Italian homes by 2018. In a presentation led by CEO Flavio Cattaneo, the company announced a partnership with Samsung to offer customers the opportunity to buy a Samsung Full HD Smart TV from the 2016 range, as an exclusive for TIM, with Premium Online cinema and TV series included for six months. TIM also announced that it will be the first operator in Italy to offer video game streaming on the new TIMgames platform, with an initial catalogue of 100 online games accessible via TV.
