Smart RF Receiver ICs target automotive applications.

2013-09-17 14:30:28| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Housed in 5 x 5 mm QFN32 package, Models ATA5781, ATA5782, and ATA5783 consume 9.8 mA in receive mode and offer sensitivity of -122.5 dBm when programming intermediate frequency bandwidth to lowest value of 25 kHz. Blocking performance minimizes power-robbing false wake-ups and prevents RF range reduction and communication failure caused by RF disturbers. Applications include remote keyless entry, passive entry go/passive entry passive start, remote start, and tire pressure monitoring systems. Sonys Bravia Smart Stick turns regular TVs into Google TVs

2013-09-16 17:18:02| Extremetech

Thanks to the high cost of cable packages and low cost of á la carte streaming, and perhaps thanks to cheap and tiny devices like the Raspberry Pi and Roku, the tiny, unobtrusive media streaming device is currently all the rage. The $35 Chromecast is the hot new streamer, but it's quite limited compared to the competition.
