The state Department of Environmental Quality has issued its annual solid waste report, and it found that the amount of municipal waste, construction debris and other types of waste it accepted last year remained about the same. As for waste generated within the state, that totaled about 15 million tons.

World leading engineering company Renishaw is pleased to announce the creation of Renishaw Tehnični Inženiring d.o.o., a new research and development organisation which is located within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The new facility was formally opened on June 16th by Sir David McMurtry, Renishaws Chairman and Chief Executive, who co-founded the company in 1973.
