I was preparing to head to a meeting just south of Albany on Monday when word came that it would have to be cancelled due to a truck fire on I-787 that was completely disrupting travel on that and adjacent area highways. Ironically the meeting was supposed to be at the offices of the New York State Canal Corporation , which has come under fire of late for supposedly creating a burden for truckers! Looks to me that its a two-way street.
