Furthermore, at least 3 years experience in software development in a Linux or Unix environment is required, together with at least 3 years experience in CC, preferably also in Fortran90. Knowledge on lightning processes, lightning detection systems ground or space based and on the general atmospheric processes in convective situations would be a distinct advantage. Furthermore, experience with graphics packages like IDL or Matlab would be a distinct advantage. The Key Person is required to have the experience and capability to fulfil the assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision. The Key Person shall also possess good interpersonal skills. TASKS In general, the tasks of this Key Personwill be towards the provision of support to the LI product development within CUSTOMERs Remote Sensing and Products Division RSP. Within RSP, the Key Person will work in the team of the Atmospheric and imaging Applications AIA in the group responsible for the scientific product development.
