For one of our biggest customers in Germany we are looking for a Subcontract Manager. As Subcom Manager you will be the right hand of the Electrical Department Manager. You will work closely with the Technical Responsible as a team. The Subcom manager is responsible for guarding the milestones, coordinating contracts with suppliers and contractors, execute audits at partners and setting up technical meetings. You need to have a sufficient background with electrical systems in the aerospace sector to understand the jargon and common cases. Tasks and Responsibilities Deliver within agreed specifications quality, logistics, technology, cost, time Bring your effective project management skills into practice process, content and team are part of this Be responsible for documentation technical product documentation, reviews and configuration management Make a contribution to the continuous development of the project management in the department Report to management. Experience and education Electrical background in the aerospace sector Understanding of concerning jargon and themes Academic working and thinking level, degree in a technical subject 3 to 10 years experience as a project leader for highend equipment andor products, in multidisciplinary development teams. Preferably proven by PRINCE2, PMI etc. certificate Lean six sigma certificate highly preferred A successful track record with at least three of the following aspects concept development projects, new product introduction projects, six sigma methodology, manufacturability, quality management, project management methodology, subcontract management High drive, team player, analytical, negotiation, creative Good communication skills and proficient in English Willingness to travel and stay abroad for a couple of weeks few times per year.
