Amazon has raised the free-shipping minimum to $49, perhaps in an effort to steer more people to its Prime membership. In case there was any doubt, the Seattle retailer has raised the minimum order size for free shipping for its regular customers by 40% to $49.

Ericsson, Amazon Web Services announce global partnership

(Telecompaper) Ericsson and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have taken advantage of their appearance at Mobile World Conference to announce a wide-ranging partnership designed to accelerate cloud transformation for telecoms service providers. As part of the deal, Ericsson will create a global team of experts focused on the AWS cloud and open cloud innovation centres with customers. In this regard, Ericsson has already started work with Australian operator Telstra, which will host the first cloud innovation centre at its Gurrowa Innovation Lab in Melbourne.
