NEMA published ANSI/NEMA WC 71 ICEA S-96-659-2014 Nonshielded Cables Rated 2,001–5,000 V for Use in the Distribution of Electric Energy. Standard applies to materials, constructions, and testing of 2,001 through 5,000 Volt nonshielded power cables having insulations of thermoplastic polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, or cross-linked rubber. Last published in 1999, document is for users and producers of insulated cable.

Dish Network urges FCC to kill cable megamerger

Dish Network said on Tuesday it filed a petition asking the Federal Communications Commission to deny the proposed merger of Charter Communications and Time Warner Cable, citing substantial harm to competitors and consumers. The petition said that the proposed deal would be no better for the public interest than the one proposed between Comcast and Time Warner Cable.
