(Telecompaper) In the first quarter of this year, 3 percent of Dutch consumers owned a Huawei smartphone, a similar market share as BlackBerry and Nokia. This is one of the outcomes of Telecompaper's Dutch Smartphone User Q1 2014 report. Since the customer base of Huawei is very positive about its smartphone, this percentage is expected to rise in the near future. The research further shows that almost half of the Dutch consumers owned a Samsung smartphone in the first quarter of 2014 (47%). Apple had a market share of 23 percent, followed by HTC (7%), Sony (5%) and LG (5%).
