AIT Engineer Deadline for applications ASAP Job Description We are looking for an AIT Engineer on behalf of our client for their location in Immenstadt, Germany. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Processing of assembly, integration and test AIT tasks within the scope of space projects satellites, payloads, subsystems Coordinate the mechanical AIT work on the satellite in consultation with the AIT manager and other disciplines involved Prepare and execute of mechanical integrations of flight hardware on the satellite, and documentation of the work results Prepare concepts for mechanical AIT and MGSE Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and preparation of corresponding planning documents Practical implementation of external and internal requirements for mechanical AIT, MGSE and thermal hardware thermal hardware Supervise of subcontractors for MGSE, thermal hardware and test equipment Create integration and test procedures, reports, etc., incl. evaluation of test results Procurement of MGSE Mechanical Ground Support Equipment for satellite projects with preparation of the necessary specifications, supervision of the tendering process evaluation of bids and supervision of subcontractors until delivery and acceptance Coordinate and contribute to the internal development of MGSE in accordance with the PRC process ith final execution of the approval test. Proof Load Test for CE certification Specification and acceptance of thermal hardware and test equipment Reviseupdate of generic MGSE and thermal hardware specification in accordance with the project requirements Participate in test and launch campaigns the job requires the willingness to spend several months abroad abroad for several months Participate in NRBs NonConformance Review Boards to find causes of errors and solutions finding solutions Cooperate with other locations and European subcontractors. Requirements At least Bachelors degree or comparable qualificaiton in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Experience with high quality mechanical integration, preferably of space components Experience in handling of time planning tools e.g. MS Project Experience in measurement technology mechanical electrical is desirable Experience with Windchill and CAD software CATIA is desirable Thermal knowledge and experience in the application of siliconebased thermal fillers would be an advantage Knowledge of manufacturing and integration standards in the aerospace industry Technical understanding of mechanisms and system elements of satellites and space probes Insight into the function and application of electrical components Driving licence and safe handling of cranes and lifting platforms desirable Proficient in MSOffice Proficient in SAP Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information Able to integrate into a team Independent, solutionoriented, selfreliant and goaloriented way of working.
