Are you exicted to work for Galileo, the European satellite navigation program? Do you have a strong interest in verifying requirements for a highly complex space system? Your day to day activities As an AIV Engineer in our team, you will be working on a Mission Critical System that is part of the Galileo infrastructure. You will contribute to the security aspects and data protection of this navigation mission. Your main task will be verification of the component and element requirements, which includes writing, updating and running test procedures. You design for each test stage and document the test specifications. You are also responsible for the integration and maintenance of the Reference Systems according to the requirements. This system is characterized by a high level of complexity. Things you need to be successful You are wellorganized, energetic and have a high level of attention to detail. You have advanced analytic skills and are a quick learner. You have experience with the testing lifecycle of space projects, are inquisitive and able to investigate technical problems. You also have A Bachelors degree with a focus on Information TechnologyCommunications, or equivalent Experience with GSWS standards or equivalent Experience with test automation UFT ISTQB certification would be a plus Good working knowledge of Linux and SQL Experience of 3tier webbased development architectures, Java, Oracle. Eligibility for an EU Personal Security Clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL and above is part of the selection procedure. Your working environment CGI delivers complex, missioncritical space software systems across Europe, Asia and North America, supporting programs from satellite navigation, communications and operations, to spaceenabled applications. Galileo is Europes own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites. It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control. The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase. As AIV engineer you will be joining our team in The Netherlands, in Rotterdam. The team is responsible for the Assembly, Integration and Verification of the Key Management Facility of the Galileo Mission Segment.
