Taiwan-based companies should work together to confront the challenges posed by the rise of China's IT supply chain, according to Jason Chang, chairman for Advanced Semiconductor Engineering . Chang reiterated ASE's plan to buy 5-25% of rival Siliconware Precision Industries .
