Proposed ASTM International standard, ASTM WK34574, Test Methods for Determination of Organic Halides, Total Non-Methane Hydrocarbons and Formaldehyde in Hydrogen Fuel by Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, will be used by laboratories to monitor quality of hydrogen fuel for fuel cell vehicles to satisfy requirements of SAE J2719.
