JOB PURPOSE ROLE Responsible for sales and customer service tasks related to a range of accounts allocated under the sales plan. The account Manager will be responsible responding to regular customer queries and requests routing some of them as required sales related. They will support the Sales Engineer and Executives in managing and growing accounts. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Description Key Performance Indicators Sales Plan Provide input towards the sales plan in order to ensure alignment of sales activities throughout the commercial department as well as the organization. Assist the sales department functional levels in the achievement of their sales targets in order to ensure alignment to departmental plans and objectives. Alignment of Sales activities to Sales plan Achievement of sales targets. Achievement of collection targets. Account Management Activities Ensure that service enquires are handled promptly and satisfactorily. Identify and qualify new customers and new opportunities on an ongoing basis Follow up new opportunities to sell QSC services to fulfil or exceed revenue objectives Formulating proposals, followingup effectively and closing sales efficiently. Retain comprehensive knowledge of product and sales services applicable to assigned customer base and prospective customers. Executing sales strategies in order to explore business opportunity and maximize sales prospect Manage sales contracts and billing activities. Followup customer outstanding billing collections, in line with the terms of the service agreement Establish and sustain distinguished customer relationships to effectively meet customer needsrequirements. Oversee account management activities and customer claims resolution. Track the sales department against KPIs to ensure that sales targets are achieved and margins are sustained. Provide feedback to Product Development and Engineering on how customers need to grow their business in terms of followon Eshailsat services. Participates in regular sales team meetings in order to report progress, gain a wider appreciation of sales activities and contribute views on ways forward. Analyses and meets evolving customer needs through relationship building. Sales efforts are aligned to customer preferences. Sales administration activities are timely performed and provide clear insight for Sales department functional levels Policies, Processes Procedures Suggest to the Sales Director enhancements to the Account Management policies, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the commercial activity so that all relevant procedural legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, costeffective service. Implement the same. Effectiveness of Account Management Policies Procedures suggested. Compliance with procedural requirements. Effective communication of Account Management Policies and Procedures. Reports Generate reports for Management on accounts statuses in order to assist in the forecasting process as well as the generation of revenue statements and analysis of lost sales opportunities. Timely and accurate preparation of reports. Continuous Improvement Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of account management practices taking into account Industry best practice, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans. Develop and maintain an external network of professional technical and business contacts to keep well informed about competitor activities, customer needs, new opportunities, etc. Follow up with Technical Services team to resolve customer requests and respond to it at a timely manner. Regular contacting with existing customers to take feedback about services being delivered, their future needs, information about competitors activities pricing and offers, etc. Number and quality of improvements are in line with corporate expectations and implemented. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in Electrical, Telecom or equivalent engineering qualification. Marketing specialization or Sales focus is a plus. Background in telecommunication and satellite industry is preferred. Minimum Experience 58 years of experience in engineering support for satellite companies.
