Advance Auto brings new jobs to Rutherford County

Advance Auto Parts is set to invest $24.5 million in a La Vergne distribution center and create 200 new jobs in Rutherford County, officials announced. The aftermarket parts provider said it will upgrade an existing building and install the equipment to set up a 450,000-square-foot "world-class" distribution center for its company-operated stores, commercial customers and independently-owned Carquest stores in its southeast area.
