When Rockspring Capital began looking to buy real estate in the Katy area 18 months ago, little did they know the market would become so competitive. "With land prices continuing to escalate, it was a struggle to find a piece of land to target and acquire," said Michael Ross , Rockspring's vice president of asset management and entitlements.
