Angie's List profit up on lower marketing costs

Angie's List Inc. said lower marketing costs and fast-growing service revenue drove stronger-than-expected earnings in the fourth quarter, though renewal rates and membership growth continue to decline. Angie's List, which went public in November 2011, runs a website that lets visitors research, rate and hire local businesses.
