Audi says BMW and Mercedes minivan rivals are unlikely

The Volkswagen Ag luxury unit has recently commented on the sidelines of BMW's launch of models in the family minivan segment, claiming they will reach their goal of 2 million auto sales annually without such models. BMW has recently moved to expand its lineup in the MPV segment, aiming to attract family customers with two minivan offerings: the 2 Series Active Tourer and the larger, seven-seat 2 Series Gran Tourer.
