As Bistatic SAR Mission Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support the EOP Future Missions Division to follow developments described below. The position is based at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Planning of L and Cband bistatic SAR missions including mission scenarios definition, mission acquisition optimisation and implications at system level, e.g. regarding operations and ground segment System engineering support at platform, payload and mission level Support to the development of versatile platforms for convoy missions in the range of 500 kg max. with 150 kg payload Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience You have good communication and technical writing skills You have good organisation skills You are methodical and proactive You have general knowledge of ESA EOP missions, in particular SAR mission You have experience of daytoday contact with international experts and partners in the field You have the capability to coordinate a large amount of inputs You have the capability to synthesise, summarise and take conclusions You have a proactive approach, with initiative and capability to work independently You have problemsolving oriented attitude You have demonstrated experience in mission analysis and system engineering in general. Experience in system engineering on SAR mission is an asset The following skills would be highly desirable You have a sound knowledge on SAR payloads and SAR performance will be a strong asset, You have experience in small platforms You have CAD software, Matlab, STK and Excel knowledge You have knowledge on optimisation techniques How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
