Tasks and Responsibilities The work will be performed at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The position will include the following tasks and responsibilities Provision of input to the controlling requirements of financial and resource management support system and defining the necessary processes and related monitoring and reporting requirements Supporting the implementation of such management support system Supporting the elaboration of the related procedures in view of ISO 9001 certification Contributing to improving related processes, methods and tools Support data mining and analysis for corporate controlling activities at ESA level Support the definition and development of data models Support the production of internal and external reports Maintain operate systems being used for ESA MYP eg CMYP,Backdating, KPI Work with big data volumes perform analysis for corporate controlling activities Support definition, analysis validation of ESA requirements for a new Agencywide corporate controlling tools eg PLATO its implementation in particular migration test phases Streamlining of multiyear planning controlling processes methods through proposal for enhanced tools Qualifications and Experience Applicants should have a Master degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Finance. Relevant years of experience is an asset. Furthermore, candidates are required to have following skills Very good programming knowledge Relational Databases, SQL, Oracle, Matlab, VBA. Good knowledge of SAP. Ability to understand business language and translate it into mathematic models and graphs. Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting and Economics. Understanding of Information Systems management issues. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. High level of flexibility. Good organization skills, good communication skills.
