Central Ohio car dealers await parts for air-bag fix

Federal regulators are telling consumers to take immediate action to fix potentially defective air bags in nearly 8 million vehicles, even though many auto dealers do not yet have the parts and other information to fix the problems. This apparent disconnect, which had automakers and dealers scrambling yesterday, is the latest development in a years-old problem with Takata Corp. air bags, which have been found to explode and send shrapnel flying.
