For Astrium Satellites in Friedrichshafen within the area Processing Platform Products Germany for the department Products Projects APG1 we are looking for a Chief Engineer Power Electronics mf. Your responsibilities will include Overall technical supervision of power electronics projects mainly primary power supply units, high voltage supplies, DCDC converter for satellites at the Friedrichshafen and Ottobrunn sites Architectural guidance and technical decision focusing during proposal phases and until project architectural reviews Lead of critical technical reviews tiger teams on demand Support of transnational activities in frame on the Centre of Competence Electronics Technical focal point for product line managers in the power domain Lead of technological RD roadmap and active participation in RD activities We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Extensive working experience in electrical engineering Long experience in system engineering for power electronics projects Experience in development of power electronics, preferably in the satellite domain PCDUs, DCDC converter, HighVoltageModules Deep knowledge in powermoduleanalytics WCA, PSA and boxlevelanalysis radiation, thermal, mechanical, FMECA...
